A JOURNEY FOR REAL TRANSFORMATION
ILLUMINATE is a 1-day all-inclusive retreat for the summer solstice from June 20-21 featuring one psilocybin truffle ceremony and one overnight stay afterwards in the beauty of AVANI. The ceremony will be led by Quddus on their stunning property surrounded by a private forest and pond.
We have 22 live instruments including several gongs and authentic Tibetan singing bowls to guide you into the deeper layers of yourself so that you can reveal that subconscious mind. As the sun reaches its northernmost position in the sky with this summer solstice, we have this moment to illuminate more of our consciousness.
OUR CEREMONY
You deserve the very best when doing this kind of sacred work.
We approach ceremony in a holistic and multidisciplinary way so our ceremony starts with breath work and vocal toning that can help you to settle and center yourself into the experience. We recommend laying down in shavasana for the most restorative experience along with an eye mask on to get more from the sound. The sound journey includes instruments like the gong, authentic Tibetan singing bowls and shamanic drums to guide you into a more expanded state. Then we complete the evening with a sharing circle and vegetarian food but if you’re still “in flight” you’re welcome to stay in your own experience.
Our 3 Part Program
The Preparation Call
Our time together starts before we meet up at the retreat space. We’ll have an opportunity to get on Zoom to connect, share intentions and go over what you need to prepare.
The Ceremony Day
We’ll start with sharing what can help you get the most out of the journey then you’ll have time to do that. Our ceremony will start in the afternoon and go throughout the evening.
The Integration Program
As you return to your day-to-day, the real work starts and our 3 week program will support you to connect more dots and implement what you got from our journey together.

Before you can attend this retreat, it’s important that we evaluate the possibility of attendance on a case by case basis so please fill out the form — which you’ll see after clicking at the bottom — and know that we do maintain confidentiality. We always aim to follow up within 24 hours via WhatsApp so expect that soon.
CONTRIBUTION
This was usually priced at €750 but because we’re committed to making this inner work more accessible— we now offer it at a sliding scale between €350 and €750. We ask that those who do have the means contribute more so that those who don’t have the means can have access to this experience and we can make this way of sharing this work more sustainable and inclusive.
LOCATION
We’ll be gathering in a beautiful retreat space called AVANI, located about a 90 minute drive outside of Amsterdam. We can provide a ride for those who need it from the train station nearby the retreat center in Hertogenbosch.
Meet Your Guide
Quddus Philippe is a shamanic guide and the founder of Sound Sanctuary. He is a multi-instrumentalist who leads transformational psychedelic journeys and trains other practitioners through Sound Sanctuary Academy. Before walking this spiritual path, Quddus built a successful career in music and media —from his start as a campus radio DJ to hosting MTV's iconic show Total Request Live where TIME Magazine named him "one of pop culture's foremost tastemakers."
After leaving MTV and serving as a creative director at Myspace, he was inspired to launch The Creator Incubator to help other creatives develop and launch their dream projects. His path shifted after a divorce and a deeper reckoning with success. Sound became the doorway back to himself. Through years of study with master teachers in sound and the shamanic arts, Quddus transformed his personal breakdown into a path of deeper service with this work.
